Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information SkipRatio ("we", "us") collects through skipratio.com and our services, why, who we share it with, and your rights. SkipRatio is the controller of this information. Contact: contact@skipratio.com.
What we collect
- What you send through the form: your name, email address, business name, website, the link to the article or product for your free video, what you're interested in, and any notes.
- What you send us directly: emails, call notes, and the materials and account access you share when we work together.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics and advertising data: if enabled, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel use cookies and similar technologies to record pages visited, how you arrived (for example the ad or campaign), the device and browser, and whether you sent our form. We use this to measure which pages and ads work.
- Campaign details: if you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we remember the campaign and ad name in your browser and include them with any form you send, so we know which ad brought you.
Why we use it
| Purpose | Legal basis (EU/UK) |
|---|---|
| Reply to you, make your free sample video, send an overview or proposal, and arrange a call you ask for | Steps you ask for before a contract; our legitimate interest in answering enquiries |
| Deliver and bill services when you become a client | Performance of a contract |
| Keep business, tax and accounting records | Legal obligation |
| Keep the site and our systems secure, and prevent spam and abuse | Legitimate interests |
| Measure site use and the performance of our ads (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) | Your consent where the law requires it; otherwise our legitimate interest in measuring our marketing |
We don't send marketing newsletters unless you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time. We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who process data for us under contract: Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivering form submissions to our inbox), and our email and file storage providers.
- Analytics and advertising partners: Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel), which receive the browsing and conversion data described above under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, when needed.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
We don't sell your personal information for money. Using the Meta Pixel and Google advertising tools to measure and improve our ads may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out at any time below, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals automatically.

International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client information: for the length of our work together, plus as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Materials you share for a project: until the project ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we agreed otherwise.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold and give you a copy;
- correct it, or delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it.
US residents can request access, deletion and correction, and can opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising using Your privacy choices above or a Global Privacy Control signal. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Email contact@skipratio.com to make a request. We'll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and aren't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
